Course Learning Outcomes
  1. Interpret and use anatomic and physiologic terminology.
  2. Classify the composition of the male and female reproductive system and differentiate common gross patterns of reproductive disease states and pregnancy.
  3. Contrast the stages and describe the progression of parturition.
  4. Relate the composition of the mammary glands, and illustrate the functions of the normal and the pathology of the abnormal mammary gland
  5. Illustrate the function the anatomy and functions of the urinary excretory system and distinguish the pathologic processes that take place.
  6. Assess the aspects of pH, fluid, and electrolyte homeostasis physiology.
  7. Identify and compare the aspects of the special sense components of the nervous system and their association with clinical disorders.
  8. Illustrate, compare and contrast the anatomy and function of the nervous system, neurohormonal system, and assess the clinical disorders observed in relation to this system.
