Course Learning Outcomes
- Interpret and use anatomic and physiologic terminology.
- Classify the composition of the male and female reproductive system and differentiate common gross patterns of reproductive disease states and pregnancy.
- Contrast the stages and describe the progression of parturition.
- Relate the composition of the mammary glands, and illustrate the functions of the normal and the pathology of the abnormal mammary gland
- Illustrate the function the anatomy and functions of the urinary excretory system and distinguish the pathologic processes that take place.
- Assess the aspects of pH, fluid, and electrolyte homeostasis physiology.
- Identify and compare the aspects of the special sense components of the nervous system and their association with clinical disorders.
- Illustrate, compare and contrast the anatomy and function of the nervous system, neurohormonal system, and assess the clinical disorders observed in relation to this system.
