Topics address recently identified current events, skills, knowledge, and/or attitudes and behaviors pertinent to the occupation and relevant to the professional development of the student. Includes an examination of current accounting trends and topics in business and industry. Examples include subjects such as business formation, Cryptocurrencies, sales tax, data analysis, technology, and industry specific accounting issues.

Course Learning Outcomes
1. Adapt and apply skills, abilities, theories or methodologies, in accounting, to new situations.

2. Explore an accounting related topic in depth, and apply knowledge to accounting practice.

3. Demonstrate an understanding of how academic concepts pertain to relevant topics encountered outside the classroom.
