FSS 218 - Strength Training: Applied Principles and Techniques 2 Credits, 3 Contact Hours 1 lecture period 2 lab periods Introduction to resistance training principles. Includes history, anatomy and physiology, biomechanics and kinesiology, weight training principles and concepts, assessment and program development.
Recommendation: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in FSS 234 . If any recommended course is taken, see a financial aid or Veteran’s Affairs advisor to determine funding eligibility as appropriate. Information: This course requires physical activity and is intended for students pursuing the Fitness Professional Certificate program.
