BCT 123 - Concrete/Masonry 3 Credits, 5 Contact Hours 1 lecture period 4 lab periods Basic concepts and materials for concrete construction, finishing, and masonry work. Includes trade terminology, composition and characteristics of concrete, uses of concrete as a building material, effects of craftsmanship on finished concrete, concrete construction process, site operations and work set-up, history of masonry, and modern masonry materials and methods.
