Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Marketable Skills Achievements

This program builds on the Optical Assembler program. Students will move beyond optical basics and learn how to perform basic alignments on optical systems. This will include laser and beam path alignments and introduce the use of specialized equipment common to many optical applications. Print reading and mechanical measurements will be introduced which will further tool use, and enable close inspection of components. Designed for those pursuing roles as QC Inspectors or Junior Technicians, this series builds upon foundational knowledge to prepare students for more autonomous, complex tasks in the optics industry.

CIP Code: 15.0304
