Industrial Service Technician

This program provides: Occupational Safety and Health Act-10 (OSHA 10), a practical introduction to fluid power systems, mechanical drive systems and power transmission, DC and AC component fundamentals, electrical motor control systems, industrial metrology tools and print/schematic reading and symbology. This program prepares learners for technical-level positions in mechatronics, automation in manufacturing, and industrial maintenance.

Program Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety standards and practices in the maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Correct installation of an electronic motor assembly.
- Describe how and why electrical controls and pneumatics can be used to implement logic functions.
- Apply various types of prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams used in manufacturing.
