Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program, the learner will be able to:

Demonstrate understanding of industry standards and safety practices.
Demonstrate professionalism with attitudes, conduct, ethics, and work practices.
Identify and read components of plumbing drawings.
Identify types and parts of a trap; explain the importance of traps, and how traps lose their seals.
Explain the relationships between components of a water distribution system.
Demonstrate the ability to test a DWV system.
Demonstrate the ability to service various types of valves.

GTM 105 or GTW 101 or course in BUS* or MGT* or WRT* - 3 Credits
BCT Elective** - 3 to 4 Credits
