Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program, the learner will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate understanding of industry standards and safety practices.
  2. Demonstrate professionalism with attitudes, conduct, ethics, and work practices.
  3. Identify and read components of plumbing drawings.
  4. Identify types and parts of a trap; explain the importance of traps, and how traps lose their seals.
  5. Explain the relationships between components of a water distribution system.
  6. Demonstrate the ability to test a DWV system.
  7. Demonstrate the ability to service various types of valves.
