Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program, the learner will be able to:

  1. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Demonstrate understanding of industry standards and safety practices.
  2. Demonstrate professionalism with attitudes, conduct, ethics, and work practices.
  3. Describe electrical safety procedures on the job site.
  4. Perform commercial and industrial wiring.
  5. Perform residential wiring.
  6. Describe the critical information on circuit breakers and fuses and demonstrate installation.
  7. Discuss the application differences between relays and contactors.
  8. Discuss the different types of electric lighting as they apply to residential, commercial, and in industrial applications.
