Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the program, the learner will be able to:
- Demonstrate understanding of industry standards and safety practices.
- Demonstrate professionalism with attitudes, conduct, ethics, and work practices.
- Describe electrical safety procedures on the job site.
- Perform commercial and industrial wiring.
- Perform residential wiring.
- Describe the critical information on circuit breakers and fuses and demonstrate installation.
- Discuss the application differences between relays and contactors.
- Discuss the different types of electric lighting as they apply to residential, commercial, and in industrial applications.

- GTM 105 or GTW 101 or course in BUS* or MGT* or WRT* - 3 Credits
- BCT Elective** - 3 to 4 Credits
