Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program, the learner will be able to:

  1. Apply and evaluate principles and applications of clinical data content, structure, and standards

  2. Analyze and interpret health information protection policies and regulations
  3. Utilize and explain electronic health technologies and resources for system implementation
  4. Apply and evaluate internal and external revenue and reimbursement policies, methodologies, and systems
  5. Analyze and evaluate healthcare regulatory standards and collaborations for integration and compliance
  6. Identify leadership strategies and apply to quality improvement, workflows and project management within the healthcare industry
