Emergency Medical Technology and Paramedicine

Paramedics perform all the basic life support functions that EMT’s do such as assessing a patient and determining if a life threatening injury or illness exist, and they are certified to perform more advanced life saving procedures such as endotracheal intubation, intravenous access and drug administration. The choice of a rewarding career in either occupation is available with training.
