WLD 263 - Layout and Fabrication Welding 4 Credits, 6 Contact Hours (2 lec., 4 lab)
Principles and techniques of steel layout and fabrication welding. Includes measurement, print reading review, layout tools, layout techniques, hand-held power tool safety and use, large power tool safety and use, drawing interpretation, structural methods, and welding projects.
Prerequisite(s): WLD 115 , WLD 261 and GTM 105 (or placement into MAT 092 or higher). Recommendation: Completion of WLD 160 before enrolling in this course. If any recommended course is taken, see a financial aid or Veteran’s Affairs advisor to determine funding eligibility as appropriate.
