RAD 176LC - Clinical Education II 6 Credits, 24 Contact Hours (24 lab)
Continuation of RAD 173LC . Includes routine and special radiographic procedures, trauma and mobile radiography, osseous pathology, and pediatric radiography.
Prerequisite(s): RAD 171 , RAD 171LB , RAD 172 , RAD 172LB , and RAD 173LC . Corequisite(s): RAD 174LB , RAD 174 , RAD 175LB , RAD 175 Information: Clinical Education Centers may require additional fees and a tuberculosis skin test. Student must be admitted to the RAD program before enrolling in this course. Competency-based assignments, concepts of patient-centered clinical practice and professional development shall be discussed, examined, performed and evaluated under the supervision of a certified Radiologic Technologist. The clinical practicum incorporates critical analysis, integration, synthesis and evaluation of concepts and theories in the performance of radiographic procedures.
