ESE 355 - Classroom Management: Mild-Moderate Disabilities 3 Contact Hours, 3 Credits 3 lecture periods 0 lab periods
Effective classroom management strategies for fostering supportive, positive, effective and inclusive learning environments. Includes theoretical frameworks and practical approaches for classroom and behavior management for students with exceptionalities and methods that promote student engagement and academic success. Also includes establishing positive relationships, utilizing evidence-based strategies and techniques to enhance student behavior and learning outcomes. Includes legal and ethical considerations in classroom management, current and relevant trends, behavior data, and the development of individualized behavior intervention plans.
