This course builds on knowledge learned in Introduction to Heavy Equipment Operator I and II.  Learners will be introduced to various pieces of heavy equipment, safety practices, and their preventative maintenance. Learners will also operate heavy equipment.

Prerequisite(s): UBCT 105, 107 or BCT 105, 107; UBCT 166 and 167

3. Demonstrate the safe operation of a backhoe.
