UCIS 136A - Comp TIA A+ Exam Prep


This 1-credit hour course is designed to prepare students for the CompTIA A+ certification exams (Core 1 and Core 2) through intensive practice testing and focused review of exam content. Students will engage with realistic practice exams, review critical concepts, and develop test-taking strategies to enhance confidence and performance. By the end of this course, students will be better equipped to succeed in earning their CompTIA A+ certification.

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Identify areas of strength and weakness in the Core 1 and Core 2 exam domains through diagnostic practice tests.
  2. Demonstrate improved understanding of key topics in the CompTIA A+ certification objectives, including hardware, networking, operating systems, security, and troubleshooting.
  3. Analyze and interpret practice exam questions to select the correct answers and rationalize incorrect choices.
