UDLT 102 - Dental Morphology, Occlusion & Articulation Students will develop an overarching knowledge of human dental morphology to include anatomical landmarks, terminology, tooth numbering systems and tooth development, introduction to human mandibular movement through the examination of the interrelation of skeletal and muscular systems, tooth surfaces and the temporomandibular joints. Also includes types of cusps with their interrelation to the opposing dentition, examination of the centric relation and vertical dimension in edentulous patients, types of dental articulator and comparisons of normal occlusion and various malocclusions i.e. Angle’s Classification.
