YA 101 - Upward Bound Math & Science 101

This course provides TriO Upward Math and Science students with a comprehensive exploration of personal and academic development, grounded in theoretical models of cognition, motivation and human development. Students will engage in interactive learning experiences that enhance critical thinking, teamwork, and effective information management while applying scientific principles to real-world challenges. The curriculum covers self-assessments and career exploration, helping students identify strengths and set goals for their future careers. Additionally, students will learn essential financial practices, including budgeting and informed-decision making, to build a strong financial foundation.
