EX 100 - Zumba Fitness


Zumba Fitness is a full body workout for all fitness levels, combining all elements of fitness: cardiovascular and muscular conditioning, balance and flexibility through Latin and world dance. This course uses both low and high intensity movements similar to interval training.

Course Learning Outcomes:
  1. Become familiar with a variety of Zumba techniques 
  2. Become familiar with safety and movement execution  
  3. Demonstrate the ability to adhere to an exercise program
  4. Demonstrate improvement in cardiovascular fitness 
  5. Demonstrate improvement in muscular fitness and or/flexibility
