REA 091 - Reading Improvement 4 Credits, 4 Contact Hours 4 lecture periods 0 lab periods Development of reading strategies. Includes vocabulary comprehension, study strategies, metacognition, information literacy, and community of readers.
Prerequisite(s): ESL 088RV or ACL 080 or required score on the Reading assessment test.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Apply a strategic approach to the development of academic and personal vocabulary.
