FSS 154 - Healthy Living and Mind-Body Training 3 Contact Hours, 3 Credits 3 lecture periods 0 lab periods
Promotion of self-awareness of our daily lifestyle choices that impact our health and well-being. Includes dynamic alignment training, postural assessment, mind-body (somatic) training, wellness model, nutrition, and self-care techniques.

Course Learning Outcomes
- Identify spinal deviations and muscle imbalances with skeletal alignment.
- Apply the key principles of mind-body therapies to health coaching.
- Describe the different dimensions of the Wellness Model.
- Apply healthy diet guidelines and self-care techniques to health coaching.
