ESL 070PR - Pronunciation II 2 Contact Hours, 2 Credits 2 lecture periods 0 lab periods
Pronunciation for non-native English speakers at the intermediate level. Includes word stress, sentence stress and rhythm, and intonation patterns.
Prerequisite(s): ESL 060CM or required score on ESL assessment test. Recommendation: Concurrent enrollment in ESL Oral Communication course (CM). If any recommended course is taken, see a financial aid or Veteran’s Affairs advisor to determine funding eligibility as appropriate. Information: Prerequisite may be waived with consent of instructor. See an ESL instructor for details.
