Progressive development of musical skills through interpretation of orchestra literature. Includes orchestral literature and its interpretation, mind and body control, rhythms, and ensemble performance.

Course Learning Outcomes

Interpret orchestral literature.
Perform notation.
Perform rhythmic proportions more accurately.
Apply all major and minor scales.
Demonstrate proper ensemble techniques: balance, intonation, and timbre (tone production) for orchestra.
